New Ventures

Our New Ventures program provides product design and development services for seed and early-stage startups in exchange for equity. We choose three or four promising companies each year, and offer our help working through ideation and design, implementation and subsequent iteration. We provide sustained support through the rapidly changing life of an early-stage venture.

Philosophy

Our approach to product development lets companies develop and iterate innovative products quickly. We work with you not just to develop the interface and look-and-feel of your product, but also to insure your product responds directly to the business and cultural climate in which it needs to succeed.

Though all startups operate in a culture of rapid iteration, working with Adaptive Path can significantly reduce the time necessary to get your product right. Instead of developing blind and iterating over and over, our approach helps companies deliver what users actually want more efficiently.

Process

New Ventures projects require a longer-term relationship than our traditional consulting engagements, but just long enough to ensure a venture's success. Projects begin with a two-month consulting-like process and a defined project outcome. From there, Adaptive Path acts as an advisor to help guide a product's continued development. During that time, we may re-engage for another focused project, depending on a company's specific needs.
